Dog A.I.D. does not receive any government funding so we are hugely reliant on the generosity of individuals, communities and businesses across the United Kingdom who choose Dog A.I.D. as the beneficiary of their fundraising activities. Every penny donated goes to towards supporting physically Disabled people to train their own pet dog to become an accredited Assistance Dog.

Whatever you decide to do, the Dog A.I.D. team can support you by providing information about the impact of our work to your supporters, sharing your social media posts about your fundraising and supplying Dog A.I.D. collection tins and stickers and leaflets to share. Just Giving

By organising your own fundraising event in aid of Dog A.I.D. you are responsible for carrying out appropriate risk assessments and ensuring that you have insurance in place to cover building and equipment used, and public liability insurance to protect you against claims made by third parties for injury or property damage as a result of negligence. Please seek advice to find out what is needed to keep you and participants safe.
If you hold a collection in a public place, you will need a letter of authorisation from Dog A.I.D. and a licence from the local authority. For more information go to https://www.gov.uk/find-licences/street-collection-licence
