Welcome to the DOG A.I.D. Homepage

What is Dog AID?

Dog AID (Assistance In Disability) is a national voluntary organisation which provides specialised training for people with physical disabilities and their own pet dog.

The main difference between Dog AID and many other assistance groups is that the disabled owner learns how to train their own dog. Generally all the training is carried out by the owner with supervision from a specially trained instructor.

Dog AID training is designed to give a measure of independence and provide owners with the knowledge to train other tasks. This allows them to adapt the training to their own needs with an instructor, who is able to give advice as required.

Please browse through our site,to see how we can help you, or how you can assist us. For telephone numbers and e-mail address of Dog Aid please go to the 'Contact Us' page.

Our Web Shop

We now have a Web Shop. This is a collection of online retailers that give us a commision on most items purchased. We get on average £2 on every transaction. There are over 80 shops there including many high street names. The money comes from the shop so it does not cost you anything more than from their website - its just that we get a donation.
